Migrant Leaders from Guanajuato Demand Direct Seats in the Federal Congress

Guanajuato.- Martha Esquivel Arrona and Adolfo Sierra Balderas, leaders of migrants from Guanajuato in the United States, went to the State Legislature to publicly present a proposal from the Derechos Sin Fronteras platform, aimed at guaranteeing migrant seats in the Mexican Congress.

This comes as part of the electoral reform that President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo will propose, which they view as a historic opportunity to strengthen Mexican democracy, without simulations.
