La Opinión: Book "Un Nahual en el Imperio" presented, offering a view of migration told from within
Mexico's Chamber of Deputies hosted the presentation of the book Un Nahual en el Imperio, written by Mexican journalist Maurizio Guerrero and published by Grano de Sal, a work that has become an essential reference for understanding the Mexican migrant experience, historical inequality, and the building of transnational citizenship in the United States.
According to the author, the work grew out of more than one hundred hours of interviews, as well as conversations with community members and visits to the Sierra de Puebla, which allowed Guerrero to gain firsthand understanding of the social, cultural, and economic context of this diaspora……
